It has been researched and discovered that more than 80% of Africans have one business idea or in most cases up to 10 business ideas without the necessary funds to kick start them. Africa is blessed with so many ideas that can be gotten in so many ways.
For instance, a young boy went to his village for
a holiday visit and discovered that majority of the villagers were working without shoes. With so much curiosity, he went to some of his friends in the village who told him that the reason while people walk bare footed was because of the tradition of the village. Unsatisfied with their answers, he took his curiosity to a very old man in the village and in fact one of the oldest in the village. After a long pause, the old man cleared his throat and told him the story.

That in early civilization, during the colonial era, the villagers walked bare footed until the colonial masters brought shoes to the village. The price of the shoes were expensive so the alternative was for the villagers to pay with either their cows, land and even with their able bodied men as slaves. Only the king, chiefs, and rich men in the village could afford the price. So in order to be part of the wonderful development, some greedy men in the village started stealing and capturing able bodied men in exchange for more shoes. This brought chaos into the village and made the villagers to dislike shoes because they thought its introduction has led to the slavery of their people.
According to the old man, the people loved the introduction of shoes because it made them walk smarter, it protected them from injuries, made them to venture into thicker forest that they couldn’t dare before. As time went on, some of the villagers still embraced it because they could afford it but those who couldn’t saw it as the will of the gods. And later on, generations later saw it as part of the village tradition. Then the young boy with so much satisfaction asked “what if the people have access to shoes that they can afford and won’t need to give their families away as slaves”? The old man answered him and said “we will love it “.
The young boy went to the city with so much conviction that it was time to solve some problems and he met a shoe maker who offered to make cheaper shoes for him on a sell and pay agreement. Few years later, at age 19 the boy founded the first shoe making company in his village making shoes for the villagers and later exporting them.
An idea came from just observing the lifestyle of a people and out of love, the young boy looked for a solution to the problem. A multi million dollar idea can hit you in your hungry state when you have nothing in your wallet or bank account. Don’t allow that million dollar idea that bring succumb to millions of people to die in your hands because of lack of finance.
